There was a local Ski and Snowboard jumping competition, couldn’t resist taking my camera 🙂 Must be a wonderful feeling to be able to jump like this. This image of Samah, lost in the moment as she dances the Tanoura. The play of light on movement, entwined with the surrounding nature. This is why I love photography.
I did a photo-shoot with Samah. She is an Egyptian dancer who re-interprets the Tanoura, a traditional Sufi spinning dance normally only done by men.

Ran a photography workshop today for a group of students from Franklin University in Switzerland. They had fun experimenting and learning. I was more concentrated on helping them but managed to create a couple of images I’m happy with.
Scotland has some of the most beautifully atmospheric weather.
